The ushers of St. Patrick’s Church play an integral role in our parish spirit. They provide us with the comfort of a friendly greeting when we enter the Church for Mass.

Their responsibilities start before many of us arrive. Some of the more obvious tasks include: helping people find seating, arrange for the presentation of the gifts, and collection of the offerings.

Among the ushers’ many duties is to distribute current bulletins and other documents relevant to that service, as well as to answer or appropriately direct questions. The usher also makes every effort to minimize possible distractions, aid parishioners, when necessary, assist standees when seating is available and to direct the flow of communicants.

When we finally leave the Church the Ushers are there to assist in any way as you depart  with the same warmth that greeted you in the beginning.
