WEDNESDAY, DECEMBER 6 (Feast of St. Nicholas) For the past 38 years, St. Patrick’s parish has generously provided Christmas gifts for the residents at Yorktown Rehabilitation & Nursing Center (formerly Holy Comforter Nursing Home). As we did last year, we invite you to share in the spirit of Christmas by purchasing gift cards for the 125 people who reside at the center. The staff at the center will then use your gift card to purchase the needed Christmas gifts. We appreciate your continued support of this parish tradition. (It is also recommended to have an unannounced Mass offered for the same person, since these memorials are not the same as Mass intentions.)
Friday, November 17th at 7:15pm, join St. Patrick's Church, Yorktown, in their parish center below the main church, for their St. Joseph's Workshop, an in-person or Livestream talk, "Personal Consecration to Jesus through Mary," by Fr. Zachary Alspaugh. Evening includes refreshments, talk, Rosary and Adoration.
This is a Christmas shoebox gift outreach organized by local Catholic Schools, Parishes, and Groups~ filling boxes with toys and other gifts to children suffering from extreme poverty. Wednesday, October 4th is the Feast of St. Francis of Assisi, the patron saint of animals. There will be a blessing of animals outside the Main Church at 5:30pm on Wednesday, October 4th. Bring your pets to be blessed.
Msgr. Giandurco will also be the homilist at the 12:30pm Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral on Friday, October 6th. That Mass will mark the 40th Anniversary of the passing of Servant of God Terence Cardinal Cooke. He was Archbishop of New York for fifteen years and is a candidate for Sainthood. Msgr. Giandurco is the Vice Postulator of the Cause of Canonization of Cardinal Cooke.
All are invited to attend Mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral, NYC on Monday October 9, 2023 at 9:30 am. Tickets are necessary if you wish to enter by 9:00 am but open seating is available starting at 9:15 am. A bus will leave St. Patrick’s parking lot at 7:00 am to go to St. Patrick’s in Manhattan. The bus will return at 11:00 am from Manhattan to St. Patrick’s, Yorktown Heights. Msgr. Giandurco is the homilist at the Mass. Contact the Rectory for details.

The annual Seton Parish Women's Retreat will be held October 13th to 15th at San Alfonso Retreat House in Long Branch, NJ. They will have limited carpools on a First Come, First Serve basis. As part of the National Eucharistic Revival, the Bishops of New York State are hosting a state-wide Eucharistic Congress October 20th to 22nd, 2023 at the Shrine of Our Lady of Martyrs in Auriesville, NY. The Parish has secured a 54 seat Coach Bus to visit the event on Saturday, October 21st. Inspiring talks from renowned catholic speakers; Mass with Cardinal Timothy Dolan and other NY Bishops, Eucharistic Adoration, opportunity for Confession; beautiful music and more!
